I love this wine, but I swear to God I have got to start drinking my older wine. Maybe it will open up in the decanter but on first glance, it’s past its prime. Has that tart, overripe dark cherry fruit. Oh well. My mistake.

Big Gigondas. Complex, perfectly integrated tannins. Very long finish. Beautiful fruit with sour cherries and chocolate. I love this wine.
