Dark fruit with spice and pepper. Medium+ acidity, medium+ youthful tannins. Distinct minerality, reminiscent of wine from Cornas, but for a fraction of the price. Great value, especially since it was purchased on-sale ($18) at Suburban Wines in Yorktown Heights, NY.
