Explosive nose full of CLB spice and piercing red fruit and violets. Hardly any reduction here on the pnp. It continued to gain weight and complexity over time. Complexity as well as intensity both on the nose and the palate that is just simply not associated with village wine. It’s so pure, balanced and transparent, and continued to blossom and expand over the course of dinner. Tannins are smooth and fine grained and the finish is very persistent.

CLB La Colombière 2017 was explosive and with soaring aromatics and continued to blossom beautifully. CLB’s 2017’s are my favorites right now along with Mugneret Gibourg.
