Light alcohol at 12%. More opaque than the big Syrah. Pretty though. Purple edge is striking. Smells strange. Slate, berries and some herbal anise, artemisia and rose petals. Flavors are pure French Syrah. Tart red-black berries and rocks. The acids are high. But the licorice and chocolate with black pepper and black cherry liqueur makes this baby sing. This is the kinda Syrah I love to discover. Strange, rustic, complex, and full of flavor.
