Found the pepper to be a little overwhelming. A little leather, and sour fruit

From McLean butcher. Expensive but nice. Reminds of funkier Scott Paul.

GW: Banneret comes from a tiny cellar and it’s a beautiful old school Chateauneuf du Pape. Mildly earthy and spicy, perfect for lamb/beef/duck. Me: this is a really memorable wine. The nose, the balance. Great spice. 2015 vintage.

Enjoyed. Drank this after coming down from “Boy Erased.” Make sure to decant.

Xmas eve 2018. Everyone loved this wine.

Very nice CdP. Predominately Grenache - 70%. Very bright red fruit with a surprising level of tannins. A bit skeptical of recent CdPs but I enjoyed.

Brukar sällan gilla CdP, men jävlar vad trevlig den här var. Ljus och läskande med massa röda bär och mineral. Måste vara mkt grenache
