Friday night and will go to one of my favorite areas for wine, the Loire Valley. I have opened the 2017 Domaine Dozon Clos du Saut Au Loup Monopole Chinon.

On the nose there is raspberry, strawberry, plum, pepper, spice, violet and gravel.

The palate shows notes of raspberry, tart strawberry, tart plum, green bell pepper, violets and crushed gravel.

This wine is very young and is medium bodied with mouth watering medium + acidity and medium + fine sandy tannins that lead to a long interesting finish. Because it is young I think this will grow into a nice cab franc in another 5-10 years. Enjoy your weekend, enjoy your wine and be safe. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷
