Spices, white pepper, yellow apple, ripe pear passion fruit. $15 and a great aging potential on the wine.

2018 vintage. Rustic and earthy, with high-toned red fruit flavors. Tart cherry, cranberry, graphite, leather, dried herbs, something vaguely floral, tea. For fans of Sangiovese, leafy Cab Franc, or rustic Rhône blends.

Wow! Liatiko is a Crete ancient local grape, it gives an elegant, transparent red colored, that reminds Nerello Mascalese from Etna. Excellent.

A super complex wine, was not my favorite but a good choice if you want to share a Greek wine with others. Smelled different every time you put your nose in the glass fruit cake, bile, isopropyl, strawberry. Medium bodied. Hubby said it had a tannic bite, I thought it finished kind of hot (higher alcohols).
