This lovely red burgundy from Vosne Romanee is a lovely weekend wine and was a splendid companion to the cool summer mountain air .
This village wine is simply sublime, elegant, smooth and delicious. The nose is tempting , the body like velvet and the finish is begging for a second bottle.
To my understanding this domaine doesn’t exist any longer which is a shame! Well at least I still have half a case.
My score 91, drink to 2025

Like sticking your nose in a bunch of flowers followed by cherries galore. Should have bought more. Excellent sense of place.

Another Wine Club meeting come and gone. This time we had some exceptional selections that were thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. Speaking of enjoyment, there are few things more enjoyable than sharing good wine with good friends. This is one reason why Wine Club is a tradition that we will strive to preserve for many years to come.

Arguably the finest expression of this varietal I've had to-date. A highly expressive pinot from Vosne-Romanee. It has a floral bouquet with plenty of red fruits, damp earth, forest floor, fungal mustiness, and eucalyptus. On the palate there are cherries, tobacco and cedar. I found this selection to be well worth the price point.

Great balance, but still young. The 2012 probably shouldn't be opened until 2022.

Grounded fruit with good acid paired well with white truffle/mushroom orecchiette. As well with smoked lamb with traditional mediterranean compliments.

Feminine, fruit forward, still young. Needs time.

This wine has layers and layers of different fruits and flavours that evolve with every sip. It's threat to have found a good Burgundy within reach for special occasions.
