Feb 7th, 2019A show stopper-- I haven't taste a whole lot of epineuil, but this is the first I've tasted that would stand up to a village level cote d'or wine. Not cheap (18.67 fl), but in the world of unpredictable and expensive red burgundy it is a true bargain. Strangely reminiscent of syrah: brambly mountain blackberries, smoked meat, cola, tobacco, and black plum skin.

Sep 1st, 2019You’d be hard pressed to ID this as French. It’s fresh and primary in nose and palate. Mostly cherry. No tannins at all. Honestly reminds me of Santa Barbara Pinot. Delicious and a crazy bargain for less than $30.
