Rating is capped for potential and LOL I am seeing that I rated this a year ago at 93...honestly it’s basically the same juice but I didn’t cap it for potential last time, the wait is real. There is a lot hidden inside of this grand effort. Deep juice, richness, dark berries, not heaviness, energetic, new oak is present and Is helping keep this very young right now. Has the traits of a grand cru on mid volume. Feminine and beautiful. A lot here currently not giving itself up.

Elegance and energy. Certainly not ready but also not unfriendly. Ringing finish of intense persistence gives a clue this has plenty of years to go. Deep fruit characteristics are background but present. This is markedly a little softer than the ‘15 at the moment yet still punchy.
