Pop and pour, notes from 2 hrs open. Clearly shows the vintage. On the nose: minerals, Gevrey earth, soft stems, lovely perfume, On the palate: slightly less giving than the 16..just a touch more serious at this stage: good acidity, nice density, softly fruited and loads of limestone and earth...so savory. Tannin attenuated on the finish. Fantastically elegant, if slghty aloof at this stage. Still, the bottle is disappearing quickly.
