Love this wild Savoie kitchen sink red blend. Really a terrific wine for the money. Really vivid nose of pure cherry fruit and mountain spices. Fir trees. Hint of game. Almost sausage. Saucisson. But high toned and floral as well. Palate is ripe and clean with terrific clarity and freshness. Very energetic and linear with terrific length and lovely dash of mineral intensity on the finish. A great wine. Terrific concentration and the best most charming rusticity. Surprisingly persistent. I mean really persistent.

One of the cooler wines I've had in a while. Reminded me of Mondeuse. Crushable for sure. Crunchy and clean from grapes I've mostly never heard of. Great stuff.
