Solid newly released Maranges from MISA Imports. This 2016 has some initial sulphur and blood-orange components which blow off quickly... leaving bright cherry, balanced acidity. Tasty, and a high QPR.

Despite vendor's assertion that this would only need to breathe for 30 min before opening up, wine was still closed and flat until about the 2 hour mark when it finally came into its own. Beautiful and fill at that point, but unfortunately, dinner was over by then.
