Domaine des Pierres Seches
Gauthier Cuvee Aubert Saint-Joseph Marsanne Roussanne
Custardy nose with lots of confectionery aromas and gras. Lovely sea breeze minerlity and amazing depth. So good. Palate is rich and oily but with great freshness and opulent pit fruits like peach, apricot and tangerine. Creamy and ripe but so sappy and pure. Long, oily finish. Exceptional.

Oct 25th, 2023Unreal nose of lime/lemon/granite zest, rich custardy fruit. Floral and just overpowering. Amazing aromas. Some nougat as well. Some apricots and peaches as well. Just insane complexity. Palate is an exercise in finesse and purity. Concentrated but super pure and delineated. Fat but not fat. Really elegant. Awesome tropical fruits and vineyard peach as well. So detailed.

Feb 7th, 2021Granite, honey and ripe citrus, satsuma and honeydew melon. 18 ripeness but with a brightness too. Plenty of substance, dry extract, phenolics.
