Stunning wine. Sylvain Gauthier is such a talent. Soaring nose of game, olive, wet earth and mineral. Also some fresh moss, granite and dark berry fruit. The palate is super pure like only a Ss wine can be. No hard edges and all much pure sappy fruit. Dark berries yet lifted by amazing freshness. Great length that is a granite/fruit battle for the ages. So well made and so clean.

Apr 21st, 2017Dazzlingly pure aromas of dark black fruits, leaves, dusty earth and bitter cocoa. Palate is devastatingly pure with terrific freshness and so much purity. This is the essence of Syrah. Ripe tannins and a nice juicy complex and earthy finish. Drinking great now.
