Les Galets Crozes-Hermitage Syrah

2011. pretty violets, leafy olive, and just enough bacon smoke to be fun. white pepper palate. great lift and finish.

Beef jerky, candied bacon, plum, blueberry, light pepper. Med bodied syrah.

If this wine doesn't help you understand and fall for the Northern Rhone even a little bit, I think you might actually be already dead.

Killer Crozes for the money!

Oak is riding on top of it a bit. Loads of youthful blackcurrant, black olive, and violet notes.

Becoming a go-to for N. Rhone in our house. Solid as a rock.

Beautiful #crozeshermitage #syrah - black/blue fruit, violets, black olive and a touch of smoke meat on the nose, palate reflects the aromas, richness set off with a bright frame and soft finish. Marvelous pairing with lamb loin and shank.

Really nice bottle. Received it from a friend after I returned from France. Reminds me of time there. Random bottles being so lovely. Tawny reddish color. This one feminine and floral. Some plum on the nose. Light Syrah style. Medium length finish. No food needed, just a glass and a good movie.

Classic northern Rhône Syrah with savory beefy notes,, cherries and loads of black pepper. Very fresh but slightly vegetal.
