A little out of sorts at this point, big wine and all elbows, but when it sorts itself out will be beautiful. Savory and smokey leather and earth tones complemented by hedonistic dark fruit, herbs, flowers and spice

Apr 22nd, 2016Had the 2014 vintage in Paris early February - lush but light and pleasant drinking. 2013 drinks less harmoniously but still has the attractive dark fruits and unmistakeable taste of a vinter who tends to his organic, sustainably farmed vines with the utmost care.

Dominant gamy meat, red plum, hint of bacon(!) aromas on the nose. Med p body, med p acid, med tannin, med p intensity, smoky, black pepper, wild mushroom... textured, smoky, juicy and structured. Lovely.
