Bright, tart and seductive, with some black currant and bramble fruit. A high-toned wine, very juicy but ripe and elegant. Lighter-bodied and showing fresh fruit amid real complexity on the palate, I’d think this will be best enjoyed on the younger side.

My little cab franc kick continues. This one has a bit less interest to it than some of the others I’ve had lately - somewhat one note, though overall still very enjoyable with a variety of food at Four Horsemen.
