Very shy and tightly wound initially, then starting to reveal lovely floral quality. Perfectly ripe cherry, licorice, cured meat, mushroom, damp earth. Quite elegant and feminine for a Gevrey. This is the new “Arnaud Mortet” label, as the son has taken over since the death of Denis. Give this 2016 a lot of time to unwind, but it should be extremely rewarding.

Ripe dark and red fruits, fantastic earth tones, lengthy finish. All kinds of secondary flavors. Plenty of life left.

Wow! An amazing Gevrey- young and fresh but approachable, lively, complex and structured. Pure fruits, balanced, gentle acid. Fantastic.

Needed lots of time to open... Good quality, very four-square. More exciting with time, I bet.
