A crisp style with a rounded profile making for an easy-to-like Sauvignon Blanc. The 2020 Sancerre Chavignol is a blend of around 40 blocks and features aromas of gooseberry, citrus and boxwood. It might not be the most complicated or the most concentrated Sancerre, but it offers texture, aromatics and freshness. Well-made, balanced and approachable from the off. Amazing sancerre for the money! This case might be gone rather quickly. So satisfying to experience the malange of flavours from white peaches, lime peel, gray salt, white flowers and the undeniable spice minerality. Medium length clean finish.

Cut grass and lime on the nose... On the palate, this offers lime and garden after a summer rain... Some grapefruit emerges... Zippy though not tremendously acidic here... The finish is long with dry herbs...
