Pallet features blackberry and dark plum fruit with highlights of spice, vanilla, graphite and intense oak on the long finish. Tannins are quite silky. Nice balance of alcohol (13.5%) and acidity. Savory dark fruit, dried flower, and earthy aromas. Medium-bodied with fine depth. Elegant, dry, and satisfying. A touch of oak too. This is a real refined beauty! Had this with a Mother’s Day dinner of grilled veal chop with a Rioja demi-glace.
