Cuvée de Nalys Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhone Blend

Spicy with hickory smoke and brambles, with hints of black cherries. Meaty and heavy with umami, creme de cassis, blueberries, and dark cherries come through. Highly tannic and structured, nevertheless a nice introduction to this region! #wineandpuppies

Toasted vanilla bean meets red raspberry. Medium length on finish. Smooth tannins with subtle earthy undertones.

At 9 years of age this wine is aged beautifully into a plush, velvety red wine with sweet plum and dry cherry notes.

Black cherry, blueberries, cassis. Masculine wine with intense tannins & acidity. This wine will improve with cellaring.

Balanced amount of brett, cherry/raspberry, earth and licorice on nose and palate.

Probably drank way too early. Tight but opened up after awhile. Had that funk that a lot of va wine has, whatever that is. Had to try it because of the price.

Not bad. Light, but strong garrigue. Hanging in there.

One of my favorite wines. Toured this region a while back. This could do with some additional time. Nice berry notes and a great light red color. Bouquet is inviting. Good price point from Costco. Will get another one or two and let age.
