Tasted side-by-side with a 2020 by a different producer and I would’ve flipped them blind. There’s more ripeness here and a slightly preserved feeling to the pleasant citrus driven fruit profile, lees show up at the end of the nose. The palate leads with texture and richness, leading to the smoky, long finish
