Medium dark robe, nose of flowers and red fruits, very long and elegant in the mouth with rose fannee, violets and velvety tannins and packed with a solid backbone, lots of tension in a classical Taillepieds. This was from a Magnum so probably would more open on a regular bottling. Highly recommended and in Magnum you should decant one hour before drinking, or give it another 3 to 4 years. My score might be conservative

This is an assertive wine, despite its age. Tannins still quite present though settle down with time opened. Nicely balanced.
