Domaine de Montille
Les Perrières Beaune 1er Cru Pinot Noir
2022 Independence Day Party 🇺🇲 with several members of our Tastevin crew and extended friends.🍷 Proof that our palates are wider than Burgundy. Notes may be light, scores will be honest.
1500ml; From our cellar 10Y in front still!

🍾Cheers to the Delectable Community🥂
4H Decant, 1500ml.
24H Update:
Nose has ripe plum, cherries in syrup, violets, dry sandy earth, moist leather and minor stem notes. Palate has ripe blackberry, ripe plum, black cherry, light acidity and fine tannins. This wine is in a great zone for enjoyment (from proper storage) at 18Y past vintage and should hold well for another 3-6Y. Pure enjoyment to drink this wine at this stage.

This was highly aromatic and had some zing that was intense. Maybe right but really pleasurable to drink now.

Another disappointing red burgundy. Some sappy cherry notes but ultimately was thin and lacked power. Many Aussie pinots are far superior like Bass Phillip and Bindi. 16/20.

Mar 30th, 2016Soft, smooth, beautifully sweet and lightly sour cherries, strawberries, dark raspberries, non sweetened pomegranate juice, rhubarb pie filling, red & pink roses, super soft spice, light chalk, just a touch of wet earth, beautiful acidity and a long elegant finish that last a minute plus. Who said, the 07's wouldn't be good? Drinking beautifully tonight!!!
