One of the best wines I’ve had this year, it was fresh, characterful, with zesty acidity, not overly fruity yet had a lovely green apple, lemony note, yeasty, slightly nutty, elegant, weighty but not heavy, intriguing, minerally/almost salty with a finish that lasted several minutes. This wine was an experience.

They were out of Puffeney Chardonnay so we just had to drink this. Really great fresh yellow orchard fruits (mirabelle, golden apple skin, yellow pear) matched with these savory almond, sesame, salted cashew, walnut husk, saffron and chicken stock. Like great fino or manzanilla, but without that little muscled bump of the acidification and fortification. A classic and should be considered as highly as wines that we see much more often on IG and @delectable.

2010 - OMG yum. This is more like it. Oxidative notes with super salinity. Sunflower seeds, marcona, castelvetrano. Drank this little ✨ with porcini velouté and a hunk of Comté. I have a soft spot for Jura whites in general.

Still very fresh, not tremendous length, but that's ok, plenty to contemplate
