Vin de Pays des Côtes Catalanes Grenache Blanc Blend

I love this wine. Just not today. Usually pretty rich, somewhat oxidative and definitely oak inflected, my last bottle of the 2009 is simply… over the hill. Tasting flabby, fairly oxidized, and just uninteresting. A shame. Note to self: drink this one younger.

Saline, citrus peel, Asian pear and a touch of oak. Toasty finish.

Can I tell you how much I love this wine? Sooooooo much. Rich, saline, lemony kissed with oak, and now a patina of age. Stunning

My newest favorite white wine. Stunning lemon curd saline and a kiss of oak. Grenache Blanc from Mediterranean climes.

Smoky and slightly caramel with bright nutty lemony. Beautifully textured.
