Violets, white pepper, bacon fat, char siew, and mineral on the nose. A touch of smoke. Bright, red plum and raspberry fruit on the palate, with rounded but fairly assertive tannins, good balance of fruit and acid, this screams for roasted anything with thyme and/or other herbs. Long finish. Good value. And, this is my 1,200th rating on Delectable, woohoo, I guess!

Very slight tannins, with ripe red fruits. Not amazing, and definitely not as good as the previous 2 years. We drank half then dumped the rest. So disappointed

A meaty nose and a bit of cork upon opening. Tart and juicy, with medium tannins. Very good!

Pepper, limon, chipotle peppers, black pepper, spice blend, smoke, ash—love it. Beautiful amber color which I imagine is from the 9 years of aging. Amber gold tint.

Unique wine and excellent for the price point of $21

Fruity and savoury in one glass. Reminds me of fig spread in charcuterie. Packed with flavour on the palate. Dried plums on the finish.
