Granite Muscadet de Sèvre-et-Maine Melon de Bourgogne

Very good. Funky-salty cheese rind, with a twist of citrus and beautiful acidity to tie it all together.

The warm vintage is showing here. Soft and a touch flabby, although the minerality and fruit are solid.

Must be an off bottle, since I'm usually a fan of this producers wines. Nothing here, flat and blah.

Really vibrant.

So good. I lived nearby for a year (as @Richard Young knows) but only now am I finding cool muscadets like this. Terroir driven and tons of lees time. Richard this is one even a melon hater like you would love.

Gaining complexity with age. Light, leesy and saline.

Equal turns of palate coating, vibrant fruit & acidic nervy tension. Excellent Muscadet.
