Just superb - you could sit and smell it all night

Delicious and slightly animal

2002 vintage. Light ruby. Slight browning around rim. Smells a bit manure like on opening. Red fruits. Some spice - nutmeg. Decent acidity. Tannins have faded. Fruit fading - good tertiary development. Bit drying on finish but slight sweetness makes this attractive and moreish. Still drinking but on way down.

2nd after d'angerville. Bijan liked d'ang better. I liked this. Summer fruit nose. Soft ripe cherry without too much ripeness

Sapid, rich, very full. Remarkable structure. Great pairing with the mushroom tortellini. Strong dark fruit here.
