Les Petits Noizons Pommard Pinot Noir

Stunner nose

Started off a bit weekish with sour cherries, high acidity and a hollow fruit profile but this turned sweet after 90 min with great balance, modest fruits, perfumed nose and tertiary notes. A treat.

True to type (typical strawberry) and very young.

Hele heldere, lichtpaarse kleur. Mooie geur, niet al te uitbundig. Het is vooral de smaak die overtuigd. Zacht, kruidig en vol tegelijk.

Nice Pommard on its way to age very nicely. Pomegranate, strawberry, some spice, autumn forest and a nice Pommard kick.

Great Pinot, notes of cherry and plum and baking spice with a slight earthiness.

Black cherry, plum, earth, and leather. Very good now but much better in several years.

Dried strawberries, thyme and some woodsy

Intense. Dark chocolate, meaty and smoky. Just a hint of cherry fruit shows up after a bit but who knows how this will evolve in time.
