2014. The year of jalapeño in Sancerre. If it wasn't for the minerality I would have called new world on this one. Second Sancerre I have from this year that screams jalapeño.

Clear, young, pale yellow with hint of green, medium viscosity; nose is typical ("caricatural" SB) grapefruity limey with nettle-leaves; very high acid rich dry full on the palate with unripe green apples and a long finish dominated by grapefruit and salivating acids.

What a fine example of a SB! Super gooseberry in nose but wuite so in taste too. Quite fresh - very young. Not the minerality but sure dry n fine.
