Some incredible new friends visited us, picked this bottle to enjoy on the patio and left a bit behind to share with the staff. Fully mature, granitic expression of Syrah with lively fruit & acidity to match its feral side. Gorgeous.

Closing out some sample bottles with a trade buddy. Open about 3 days when I got to taste. Amazing two nights ago, but now I'm lucky to be finishing about 1.5 glasses with my wife. This bottle is fantastic, ripe dark fruits, molasses and cedar notes with great acidity still! I'm buying this one!

Sep 18th, 2021From a cooler vintage & at its peak. Black pepper, bouquet garni, dried red fruit, smoked duck... Lots going on. Bright acidity with softening tannins that still call for something fatty. Lovely wine!
