Domaine de la Terre Rouge
High Slopes Syrah
This 2005 vintage was rocking good. Tar, tea leaf, gamey, meaty. A bit of spice and a lot of acidity. All good things. Really dug this wine. I've got one more bottle too

Mar 19th, 2018Savory, meaty red. Earthy with notes of olives and black fruit. As light on the palate as a 14.5% wine can be. Part of a bottle at Eleven Madison Park then leftovers at home.
