Enjoying a bit of luxury with a special bottle from Lesley’s cellar for her big 60. Brick colored and a bit oxidized, but the structure, acidity and character were still very much in tact. Certainly a very special wine on a memorable night!

One of the few great wines of the world that actually lives up to it's reputation. Classic, rich textured expression of Pinot Noir. Very young still. A vigorous decanting helped.
