Nicely concentrated yet lively on the palate, offering juicy bitter cherry, dark berry and exotic spice flavors that turn sweeter on the back half. Full-bodied almost like the -15 vintage yet floral and elegant; but tannins are too coarse - perhaps a few more years.

The fruit is delicious and balanced, but the carbonic is just a tad much for me. DELICIOUS gamay with yummy savory qualities, and even some decent tannins for a SA, but leans more toward the fun style, as the carbonic adds a confectionery quality to the finish.
