Licorice, garrigue, olive, smoke, a gamey thing too. Not much fruit on the nose. Maybe some plum and blackberry scents lingering in the back. The palate is well structured yet a little too young. Strong acid backbone, some red tangy forest fruits all along, some grip, young, unresolved, drying tannins in the rear which start a fruity, salty, easy going finish. This is fresh, this is easy going, this is pretty much why I usually rate Roussillon better than Languedoc !
