Vin de pays does not mean simple, it has got a beautiful fruit expression, a smooth taste and even real finesse. Red from Muscadet area, so also quite curious.

Aug 12th, 2017Vintage 2014 - 50% cabernet franc, also cab sauvignon, cot and merlot. A great effort: making a very nice red wine in Muscadet country! The wine got 8 months barriques, bio wine with certificate. Smells if you are climbing in a cherries tree while the fruit is ripe And you are harvesting them. Berries also, very vivid, great balance, drinks like lemonade (positive).

Tight. High acid, dense high tensioned core, only giving a little of what I think is in it up right now. Putting it away until spring. Red currant on the label is appropriate
