Hands down one of my favorites of the category. It's a bit more extracted than other chinons which makes it very approachable and dense with blackberry and current fruit. Acidity still rips and there's plenty of that graphite mineral character indicative of the region. Tasty.

Medium plus ruby with purple hue. Prunes, vanilla, coconut, stewed blueberries, fine tannins. Has this South Hemisphere characteristics. Medium acidity, medium sugar. Never a big fan of Chinon.
