2018 Vintage- definitely needs a decant , still rather young spiced cake, nutmeg, licorice, medium acidity

Great GSM from Gigondas. Finely balanced. Opens up quickly. Screaming for dinner. Very good. Love Southern Rhône.

2016 Vintage- not sure why the scores on this ,are so low - really pretty aromas after decanting strawberry /rhubarb pie , dried rose petals , very nice balance (750ml) Christmas spice , so pretty

Oh my savory goodness.. Cries for some grilled meat but I'll take a log fire and a book instead.

Drinking tight atm, I'm guessing there's a beautiful wine here if given time to unwind.

2017. Even before I opened this tonight, but after I bought the lamb for dinner, I had reminded myself that I’m in love with grenache. Is the southern Rhône my top region? I don’t know. But it’s up there. Really, really up there. This juicy, concentrated, delicious bottle is just one example of why. $25 is a big spend for many wine drinkers, but with wines like this I think your money is well spent. 14.5% abv. And that alcohol is beautifully and sneakily integrated. Enjoy!

Good red, but was expecting more depth. Perhaps unfair for a mostly Grenache wine, but was hoping for a chateneauf du pape light wine. Really pretty nice, but had some unfair expectations.
