Beautifully rounded, silky smooth and elegant. Very well balanced spice (clove perhaps) and red fruit. Drinkable now. Probably not much more aging left on this young one.

Unfortunately looking a little rough I suspect due to closure failure, dry dusty tannins, blousy fruit, just too tired - what a shame, I was really looking forward to it

Great wine. 1998 vintage, very MSD like, elegant but an exceptionally textured mouthfeel. Notably excellent.
