Perle de Syrah

Asked for a Northern Rhône style wine to follow the Gaillard, the caviste recommended this and, no, not so much. Warm, spicy, extracted and heavy, this is pretty typical for the region (Gard) and frankly a bit boring. Fine for what it is.

Heavy body. Overcooked black & red fruits, forest floor. hint of farmyard
