Pretty, open knit but not ethereal, tart cherry, pleasant bitterness, grounded in earth. There's a ton of energy in this bottle, and that, rather than layers of complexity, is what's really captivating here.

Where a white Chassorney St. Romain Combe Bazin 2013 was quite impressive last week, this red didn't leave me in awe. Felt unbalanced just out of the bottle (heavy on the barrique?). Left most of it for the next day but I should not have done that. The wine passed away overnight. No pleasure on the palate anymore and the finish was totally gone. Too bad.

Delicious, Brazilian cherry, hibiscous and bitter cherry, on palate earthy, leather, very dry and acidity enough to join a hamburger. I would though wait a bit more.

Must be last bottle, was surprised and impressed years ago, not easy to find. This is one terrific bottle, flowery berries and minerals, supple, pure, light and elegant in dance on palate. Silky finish. Pleasure. quintessential Burg. Certainly better than previous note.
