Costco deal for $8. Like the label. Classy with the mountain print. Dark color (as a Syrah driven wine should be ;-). Heady nose. Bit of alcohol mixed with dark berries and chocolate/mocha. Hint of stones in the rain too. (It’s 15% ABV!). Flavors are rich and hearty. More mocha-black coffee. Also something like black cherry and pluots. Angular. Plenty of bite. Both acid bite and tannin. The tannins are pretty integrated though. This hits the spot if your spot is food friendly Rhone-like red or GSM as we might say here in the USA.
