Rich, dense, deeply colored and fruit-driven but not lacking for acidity and precision. Exotic golden apple, tea and honey flavors with orchard blossom aroma characteristics. Superb to drink now, but enough to zip to age several years.

Deep yellow. Nose has straightforward aromas of honey and orchard fruit. But this is very precise on the palate, a core of snaking acidity amid the apple and pear notes, and a long finish that’s a balance of fruit and minerality. Blended from 10 to 50 year old vines. (Jason Wilson, Vinous, July 2020)

Vintage 2010 / golden colour, minerals and honey in smell. Surprisingly powerfull in taste. Good balance. Clearly flesh on the bones. Not an easy wine because there are vibrant bitters, a chenin blanc for tasters with an acquired CB taste. / Paired fine with Miehoen Singapore with shrimps, eggs and Tsa Sieuw pork

Gorgeous purity and balance of acid/sugar interplay. Sl. redux upon opening; flint and salumi rind. Aired out to underripe peach, asian pear, citrus blossom, tea leaf, flint and honey. Leesy undertones of cheese rind throughout. A “riper” Jasnieres while maintaining plenty of delicacy

Major love. Smells like persimmon pudding, tastes like goddamn deliciousness.

Classic Loire Chenin aromatics in all dimensions. RS accentuates the honey & apricot character in an off dry style that creates interesting tension between fruit, acid and texture. The finish surprises with slightly bitter lemon pith, leaving a very phenolic impression of a wine that is otherwise very rich and opulent.

I'm pretty sure if I went to the Loire I might never leave.

Structure, frame and even with 4 years of age is still structured enough to go the distance for another ten. Creamy mouth feel with discreet notes of honey and biscuit. Smashing.
