But this is very precise on the palate, a core of snaking acidity amid the apple and pear notes, and a long finish that’s a balance of fruit and minerality. Blended from 10 to 50 year old vines. Not an easy wine because there are vibrant bitters, a chenin blanc for tasters with an acquired CB taste. / Paired fine with Miehoen Singapore with shrimps, eggs and Tsa Sieuw pork

RS accentuates the honey & apricot character in an off dry style that creates interesting tension between fruit, acid and texture. The finish surprises with slightly bitter lemon pith, leaving a very phenolic impression of a wine that is otherwise very rich and opulent.
