High acidity, medium body, acetone smell stronger than anything else but not strong in itself, tastes like sharp overripe pairs, went well with char siu pork, but the acidity really overwhelmed any of the other flavors trying to come through. Not much lactic acid, no cheesy after taste, but there is a gentle mellowness afterwards. $30 from Red & White Wines in Chicago

A dry Vouvray. Pale lemon in colour. Aromas of apple and honey. Palate shows an Appley minerality. Zero pesticide regime. Low if not zero oak influence.
