Brettanomyces to the max. Even with the flaw it was still pretty tasty to drink.

A blend of Carignan,Syrah, Morvedre and Grenache and I think something else! Bright fruits good body. Not as complex as others tried today! But very solid. CB

2013. Pure and easy red fruits and earth yet redolent with that grilled herb languedoc vibe. Perfect early autumn drinking right here and worth every cent of $15.

My bottle may be flawed. The color, acidity and incorporation of tannin is like a $200 wine but it smells and tastes like the horse stables at my ex’s parent’s house when it rained in August. Bretty horse ASS. Wait an hour and you might get hay, green grass and some vague yellow spice in the astringency that you wouldn’t detect unless you were searching for it. Never buy again, but definitely recommend to a friend.

A bit bitter on its own, balances itself out when paired with a fatty meat (in this case, a Basque region raised pork loin).

This wine starts with hints of jam and fig that give way to a salty middle and dry, gritty finish. Wonderfully complex.

Pretty, delicate fruit, with herbs and spice coming on with time open. Nice grip and a little bite on the finish.
