Nice Sancerre, but more sweetness than our go-to producer (Boulay), the Chotard is of course, lower cost (not always an indication of quality, but it agrees tonight).

Quintessential, perfectly realized Sancerre. Dense minerality, juicy citrus, racy acidity, refreshing and lasting on the palate. Indicative of style and region. Stellar.

Strawberries, raspberries, dry with minerality. Medium acid and a slight touch of cream on the finish. Nice stuffm

a bit warm when I tasted so nose is a little subdued I think. white floral, white stone fruit, hint of...mint? fermented in mix of steel and old foudre. no malo. lees-y. very nice. rate 8

Agree with other reviews this a crisp and light. Not at citrusy/tart as other Sauvignon Blancs. Has hints of melon, lemon and mild pepper on the finish. A little bit tannic/chalk. Easy drinking. Warning: I tried it with baked salmon, and it didn't work. Brought out a fishy-ness in the salmon that I felt was unpleasant. Might go better with a white, less "fishy" fish, or sashimi. Other than that, loved it!
