Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Pinot Noir

Lovely and quite tangy. Gevrey fruit with purple grapey notes and bright blue balance- quite lean and cold-blooded. Vivid and yummy. Still young

Vintage 1996. Took a bit to open, but with patience this was exceptional. Give it 45 mins + for the beauty to arrive.

Powerful. Not a lot of elegance but this wine is a crowd pleaser. At 20 years old it still has a career ahead of it. Baking spices mixed with ripe Bing cherries.

Stewed and raisiny. May be an off bottle.

A mix of red and black cherry/berry, dry earth, bit of clove and star anise. Great acidity all throughout. Needed an hour plus to get going.

In a nice place. Rich, smooth, elegant. Integrated. Love it.

jammy with mineral scents in the nose! Bit rusty but typical of this producer! Medium tannins with great strength of acidity, and power finish... Should be drinkable 3-5 years from now!
