Dark scarlet and bright, not showing its age. Briary nose. Notes of black cherry, moist earth, old dark wood and black pepper. Very masculine. In the mouth it’s surprisingly balanced. A bit dry in the finish. A touch vegetal. A decent wine but lacking the emotion of a better vintage. And probably needs more time.

Just peaking and rounding out with elegance. Still a firm undertone with good volume. Lots and lots of red fruit, with a final hint of freshness.
